Greg Yee
Superintendent
greg@pacnwc.orgBorn and raised in Oakland, CA, Greg lives in Renton, WA, with his wife, Mary, whom he met in college and married in 1990. They have three adult children and a beloved family dog, Curry. Greg enjoys sharing good meals with family and friends, exploring the outdoors and traveling, often finding renewal and perspective through time spent in nature and meaningful conversation.
After earning a Batchelor of Science in Human Development and Master of Divinity from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, Greg helped plant Parkwood Community Church in the Chicago area. He later served as interim pastor at Glen Ellyn Covenant Church, IL, helped pioneer second-generation ministries at Mienh Covenant Church, Sacramento, CA and served for a decade as Associate Superintendent of the Pacific Southwest Conference. Greg started as superintendent of the PacNWC in 2013.

Dawn Taloyo
Associate Superintendent
dawn@pacnwc.orgWhile native to California, Dawn appreciates the benefits of living in the Pacific Northwest, where there is no shortage of places to walk and hike; an abundance of berries to pick; as well as great coffee and wineries to explore. She and her husband Carlos have been married for over 25 years and love opportunities to work together, such as offering marriage seminars and retreats. They have two adult children.
Dawn Taloyo is Ordained to Word and Sacrament in the Evangelical Covenant Church and completed a Master of Divinity degree at Fuller Theological Seminary with a specialization in spirituality and spiritual direction. Her joy and calling is to provide a welcoming, thoughtful space for deeper healing and spiritual growth through teaching, retreat leading, and spiritual direction. She also has training in leading others through the Ignatian Spiritual Exercises, the Enneagram, and Bowen Family Systems theory.

Erik Cave
Director of Next-Gen Ministries
erik@pacnwc.orgErik is passionate about connecting young people to the larger ministry of our churches, developing young leaders, and partnering with parents. He loves adventure, including riding his motorcycle, bicycle, paddle board and snowboard, hiking in the woods, and exploring a new city. On a rainy day you will find Erik playing board games, watching a Star Wars movie, or playing Xbox. He lives with his wife in Portland, OR.
Erik Cave serves the Pacific Northwest Conference as the Director of NextGen Ministries. In this capacity, he supports children, youth, and young adult ministry as well as coordinating communications. He has over 35 years of youth ministry experience. He is ordained in the Evangelical Covenant Church and graduated from George Fox Seminary with a Masters in Spiritual Formation.

Cris Back
Director of Ministries
cris@pacnwc.orgCris, originally from Seoul, Korea, now lives in Seattle after immigrating to the United States at a young age. She is married to her best friend, Harry, and they have two sons, Noah and William, along with a puppy, Winston, who has made her a devoted dog person. Mostly a homebody, Cris enjoys cooking and baking when she can, and loves spending time with her family outdoors or watching movies together.
After college, she began her career in accounting but felt called to a different path, leading to her current role over two decades ago. As Director of Ministries, among other duties, she specializes in credentialing oversight and pastoral support, valuing personal connections with pastors and nurturing deep relationships with ethnic minority churches. -

Peter Sung
Conference Coach
peter@pacnwc.orgPeter lives in Seattle, WA, with his wife and their two dogs, Hobbes and Luca (not Calvin). They have four daughters spread across the West Coast. When he’s not working, Peter enjoys staying active, running, paddleboarding, or backpacking, and diving into his many hobbies: roasting coffee, brewing kombucha, tossing pizzas, or disappearing into a good book or new research rabbit hole.
Peter is an executive coach and psychologist who helps leaders and organizations grow in clarity, effectiveness, and health. He serves with the Evangelical Covenant Church, working alongside pastors, planters, and executives. Ordained in the Covenant Church, he draws on studies in English literature, theology, psychology, and executive coaching to integrate insight, systems thinking, and practical change.

Mark Meredith
Church Planting Coach
markrmeredith77@gmail.comMark and his wife of 46 years, Patty, retired in 2020 to Olympia, where he grew up. They have three adult boys and 4 grandchildren. He enjoys reading, cooking, travel, fly fishing, golf, pickleball, and hiking. They are active members at Grace Community Covenant Church in Olympia.
After owning a small business in Olympia for 18 years, Mark attended Regent College in Vancouver, ended up selling his business, and became a church planter in the Anchorage area. He ended up leading Community Covenant Church for 17 years, followed by 8 years as lead pastor at Pine Lake Covenant Church in Sammamish. He also has a Doctor of Ministry from Fuller Seminary. He has coached church planters for the past 20 years.

Magdiel Tzec
Latino Ministry Coordinator
magdiel@pacnwc.orgMagdiel Tzec is a ministry leader, creative professional, and community builder committed to bridging cultures, faith and communities. Originally from Tijuana, Mexico, he now lives in the Seattle area with his wife, Lisa, and their son, Mikael. He co-owns a video production company with his brothers and studies at CHET (Centro Hispano de Estudios Teológicos).
Magdiel serves as the Latino Ministry Coordinator for the Pacific Northwest Conference. He also serves on the Board of Directors for Doxa and as Treasurer of ALIPE (Asociación Latina de las Iglesias del Pacto Evangélico), strengthening Latino ministries locally and nationally.

Jill Riley
Communications Assistant
jill@pacnwc.orgJill Riley lives in Billings, Montana, and serves the conference as the Assistant Director of Communications and the Retired Clergy Coordinator. She is an active Grammy to four awesome little ones. Jill loves to write and create things, not only from words, but also from yarn, paint, and cameras.
Jill has been a minister, church planter, and coach with the Covenant for 15 years. Previous to that, she spent 20 years as a church planter, pastor, and trainer with the Assemblies of God. She is halfway through finishing a Doctorate of Ministry in Sacred Writing, through Western Theological Seminary. Jill is the Author of Post Traumatic Faith, a personal memoir and reflection on mental illness.

Nancy Sugikawa
Discipleship Consultant
nhsugikawa@gmail.comRev. Nancy Sugikawa is a Discipleship Coach with the PacNWC, helping pastors and churches develop meaningful and transformative discipleship pathways. She received her MDiv from Fuller Theological Seminary and has served in several churches overseeing discipleship, evangelism, global outreach and leadership development.
Nancy also serves on the pastoral staff of Encounter Church on Mercer Island, focusing on discipleship. In her free time, Nancy and her husband Jon love gardening and edible mushroom hunting.
