Founded in 1891 by the Evangelical Covenant Church, North Park University is located on Chicago’s north side and enrolls 3,200 students from around the world. Our student population is thoroughly intercultural with students attending North Park from 41 states and 38 countries. Mending Wings is a non-profit, Native American youth reservation located within the boundaries of the Yakama Nation in Washington State. We are Native owned and operated and provide programs for 6th-12th grade students that include cultural revitalization and retention classes and events, counseling for those dealing with addictions and abuses and learning to follow The Jesus Way as Yakama/Native people. We also provide a program for non-Native folks from churches, colleges and youth groups across the country called Slam Trips.
